flyin' high
Ok- so alot has been going on since last time. I got my invitation to the Philippine Islands. I leave for Detroit, for three days of staging, March 27-31. Then on April 1, I am off and flying to the Philippines. My program is Business Advising for Youth Development, and I guess I will find out what that means when I get there and get through training. The good thing is that most Philippino's speak English. YAYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! One less thing to worry about. The peace corp wants so much stuff from me, I had no idea . . . I have to get a new passport, visa to live in the country, send my updated resume and aspiration statement to the Philippino government. They also wanted a passport picture of me to send to the govt, in which i look cross eyed and bloated. I mean the list just goes on and on. But I am planning a little vacation. I am going to Hawaii to visit Billy on March 10, so a little de-stressing should be in order after all of my hard work, and I guess right before all of the real hard work begins. I really can't wait. I am trying to figure out how to post pictures, so hopefully there will be more to come with the look of the page. Gotta go work. Lindsey

Hey Linz, It is so good to hear from you. I am excited and nervous about your trip to the Philippines. I am sure you will do ok. Good luck with everything. Be sure and update us on the lifestyle there (including the food and amenities, etc.).

Hmmm so you are flying from Hawaii to Detroit to the Phillipines tha makes absolutely no sense do you know how long that flight time will be. Oughhh I hope not. Omar the Great

I did not know that you were in the Peace Corps now or that you were back home... wow... and the Phillipine's! You'll have to e-mail me... I don't hear anything now that Jean is acting like she is. Oh well... hope you have fun before you leave! :-)

Yes indeed, I see alot of flying in my future. Whatever- cause I'm leavin' on a jet plane don't know when I'll be back again...........

hey amelia- that would be so awesome to set up a link, I am so computer UNsavy, that I wouldn't even know where to begin. I looked at your website the other day, and I think that we have the same templat -- oops!!! I am feeling the same, excited and confused, and in tears about leaving gracie lou :( I absolutely want to stay in close contact, where we are is going to be so different, but I'm sure feelings will be the same. Have you figured out how to post pictures yet?????
